Dare To Be...

 Dare to be…
The analogy of the brain being like a muscle is a good one.
They both need activity to keep them right. Research is indicating brain exercises as a way to arrest, and even avoid, dementia. Exercise of muscle is already well established as a fact of life.
Mental and physical exercise are more effective when practised in harmony. The system of training mind and body enriches life beyond measure. A physical workout is hugely enhanced by applying mindful awareness with it.
Physical exercise, like any hand-eye co-ordinated activity, is a skill. When the mind is consciously applied, it improves the skill. And it increases the value.
It multiplies the benefits. It self-perpetuates in the activity. It spills into other areas. It amplifies personal qualities.
When you feel well, you think more creatively. You explore and apply your imagination more positively. Imagination is the tool of creativity. Being fit and well allows your imagination to flourish.
You create new pictures in the theatre of your mind. Changes begin to come about. Small changes accumulate. They begin to gather. A momentum starts. The tiny changes begin to roll into a unit.
Like a snowball.
It keeps rolling, gathering more snow, getting bigger, gaining more momentum. It can crash through gates or other obstacles. It becomes a formidable force.
Like changes.
They start happening. Possibilities appear, come nearer, get clearer. Revelations occur.
One good event encourages the next. The imagination fires. Possibilities become probable, transform into reality. And there you are, achieving the aim, reaching the goal, creating your life.
The qualities you have honed and shaped have come to serve you well.
And that’s just one tiny part of the privilege of life.
