Do You Say What You Think...?

“People are not inclined to think what they feel,
to say what they think,
or to do what they say.”
David Ogilvy.

One of the widely used and misunderstood  buzz phrases today is “insulin resistance”.

But what does it mean?

It means that cells in your body don’t  use insulin well and fail to use the sugar in your system.

 That’s it.

Most articles you will read will go into distracting and even misleading diatribes on the proportions of carbohydrate to the proportions of protein, amount of steps you take during the day, litres of water you carry in the car or handbag,  and a myriad other factors which all add up to one point: cut right down on the sugary, starchy food, and eat wholesome food instead.

Not more of it.   Instead.

It’s very simple. You don’t have to turn your world upside down. You can make simple changes, relatively small ones, and transform the environment underneath your skin. Think about it like that.

If you have children Who were putting on weight, lacking activity, and getting out of sorts, do them a huge favour and begin to cultivate a culture for live foods, some regular activity, and a mindset that tends to point up the intelligence and advantage of taking the decision to alter choices, and decide what goes in their bodies and what doesn’t.

Start by setting an example.

What you do, and how you do it, will speak volumes more than what you say.

That’s  what grows your child’s belief; seeing Mom and Dad DO what they say.

Start there.

Have a Great Day and Do Well...
