You can decide to start each day as you mean to continue.

That is your decision.

A simple breathing technique that ventilates the system for the coming day will do you more good than any amount of thinking about it.

After you’ve been up and about for a few minutes, pause in your routine, and give your mind, and your body, a chance to start the day well.

Stand easy, relaxed, loose.

Breathe in slowly through your nose. Let the air drift in, smoothly,  steadily.
Then let it release.
Breathe out gently, fully.
Use your nose or your mouth, which ever is more comfortable for you.
Breathe in again smoothly, evenly.
Exhale again steadily, till all the air is gone.

Repeat for a steady two minutes.

As you do so, decide which of your qualities you will apply to your life today.

And then do it.

Do that every morning for 28 days.
