Stress to Energy …7
                                                                Exercise
Exercise has long been recognised as an antidote to stress.

It purges the system of toxins, and waste,  allowing the body to work the anabolic processes of growth repair and recovery.

It’s effective in improving resting heart rate, reducing muscle tension, and improving the breathing process.

For basic healthy living, exercise is best used on a little and often basis.

Frequent flurries of activity during the day can have a very good effect on the body and the mind and the heart and the spirit

I say this because anybody, even those who dread the thought of exercising, can include short but frequent bouts of activity that, over time, exert a tremendous effect.

What’s important is the frequency. The great saying “little and often” is a worthy adage.

Though you may not have the intensity of a very hard workout, the body and the mind tend to adapt very quickly to what they do regularly, well, and enjoyably.

And that is what training, in the best sense of the word, is about; teaching the mind to train the body into the behaviour that makes it fitter, stronger, and more alive.

When this is practised regularly it is physically impossible not to exert a very strong and healthy affect on the body and on the mind.

Dr. James Rippe, the renowned Health Lifestyle promoter in the USA, has said, ‘Science is now supporting what we’ve always believed; fit people live longer, more actively, and are less prone to illness’

Remember, whether you like it or not, when you take action, results come.

Start at anytime, anywhere, at ANY age.

Decide and Do.
