The Inner Game of Life...

Good morning.

I’m not a golfer, but on the recommendation of a man I believe in, and trust, I read, a couple of years ago, a book by Bob Rotella.

It was about the psychology of playing golf.

It was also about the psychology of the game we call life.

In fact, it was about the psychology applied in any Human Endeavour.

It was about the frame of mind we bring to anything we try to do in life.

The principles apply to any situation. They considered the beliefs, the intentions, the attention, and the practice of the individual involved.

Underlying all the intentions and applications that we administer to any task, is the force of our beliefs

Or lack of them.

Through a series of psychological steps, our beliefs determine the quality, the affect, and ultimately, the outcome of our efforts.

Belief can add inches to a jump, take seconds off a lap time, add marks to an exam result, change the course of a meeting.

It’s not so much about WHAT we’re doing, as much as it is HOW we’re doing it.

Most of our beliefs are buried deep in our subconscious. We’re not even aware of what they are. That’s why every now and again, we need to stop, halt, and place our attention on what we’re doing with our lives, ourselves, and the tremendous force of what is available to anyone who cares to look for it.

Try that today.

And be ready for a roller coaster of a ride through time as you unearth, find, or rediscover, what inner powers are waiting to be used, and begin to express yourself in this experience we call living.
