What's Right For YOU... “That’s wrong.” "That's not what everybody says..." "This is how it's always been done..." “You’ll never do it.” “That’s not the way to do it.“ “This is how it’s done.“ “This is the right way.“ There are many variations of this statement, all saying one thing; that there is only one way. And that can be a daunting and forbidding statement. The recent emergence of Breathing Gurus who've come on the scene since the National Institute of Health declared the importance of breathing correctly gives an example of this. And that's a pity. Most of them have a good system, and are of value, but a few insist that theirs is the "only way", and because of that, they devalue their teaching and demean their intention. There are fundamentals common to all activities, but how they get done is as varied as it is individual. But these fundamentals need to be learned, practised, drilled and internalised till they are instinctive. Then, how we see, do, and become, as individuals, is what makes the difference to whatever we do... So, what’s right for me may not be right for you, and vice versa. But the fundamentals remain constant. Flair, experience, aptitude, and attitude, interest, will make a difference to how we do it. Then, making the most of who we are, where we are, with what we’ve got, is personal. But, again, the fundamentals remain the constant. We all have the same alphabet, but each of us puts it to a different use, with often spectacularly different results. How we use what resources, abilities, and talent that we have is our own decision. That's what allows us live from the inside out. That's active, resourceful, purposeful living. It's where people take their own decisions, responsibility for those decisions, implement them, and to see them through to the finish. It's the opportunity, and the privilege, for any of us. It’s the difference between floating like a leaf in the wind, or living to purpose. We have this choice every day, every hour, every moment. We also have the freedom to make that choice. We can choose to do whatever we wish, and honour that choice. The only caveat is that we don’t encroach on the freedom or the rights of another. If this idea of knowing, learning, and applying, fundamentals, proven principles that will help you get more from yourself, and from your life, with a lot less wear and tear, then the workshop this coming Saturday should be in your calendar. It's at ten am, will take about one hour, which will leave you the rest of the day, and the material is powerful, practical and proven. To see what it's about, click HERE
