What's The Fuss...?

To listen to a lot of the media talk on fitness, exercise, diet, general health, you’d think there was some huge mystery to at all.

Not so.

To be active enough, on a regular basis, to raise your heartbeat, breathe more heavily, and to mobilise your joints and ligaments and tendons, and to use your savvy when it comes to eating and drinking, is enough to keep you fit, healthy, well, and effective in your life.

Tend to two things; lung capacity and muscle tone.

Everything else will stem from these being in place. When your lung capacity is actively working for you, the entire internal environment of your being is revitalised.

When your muscles are in good tone, relaxed, at ease, and efficient, your posture is adequate, your circulation is sound, your general health benefits, and your ability to withstand colds, fatigue, illness, and injury, is greatly enhanced.

Exercise is a skill. The practice of it can be as entertaining, rewarding, and is absorbing, as any sport, performance art, or military requirement, could ever be.

Over the years I’ve had acquaintance with serious trainers, sporty people, bodybuilders, dancers, musicians, business people, and people who wanted no more than to be the best version of themselves, whatever their occupation our position in life.

Exercise is a highly personal and subjective topic. How you feel about what you do in exercise is your business and also your prerogative. There are no right or wrong exercises, training regimes, or end goals, for whatever activity you choose to do.

What do you want from training is your choice. How you choose to go about doing it is your business.

The only overriding principle is that you do it frequently, with reasonable intensity, and to give it enough time to exert an affect on your heart, lungs, and your muscles.

Let that be your thought for the week.
