As recently as five years ago I was ridiculed for speaking about the effect of the body on the mind.
Science is now supporting what we've all believed to be true. A Healthy Body helps create and maintain a Healthy Mind. This isn’t just referring to fundamental sanity. It’s referencing extended attention span, focused thinking, sharpened concentration, creativity, personal performance. In other words, how to function at your mental and physical and emotional best. These are the necessary elements for a productive, satisfying life. There is much emphasis in recent research on the value of posture, breathing patterns, how we walk, stand, sit, carry ourselves, and the effects they exert on our daily lives.. All these activities influence the mind. Awareness of this allows you to exploit, develop, use to the best of your ability, what resources and talent you may have. That's why there is more to being well then just not being sick. Lots of people are not sick. Neither are there really well. They get through the day. They fulfill their duties. They exist on a plane of substandard personal performance that doesn't do them, or their lives, justice. The route to changing all that is open to anyone whose mind is open to it. If that kind of thinking appeals to you, if YOUR mind is open, you should click on the accompanying link and put into practice what your thoughts are telling you. Click HERE for a nice surprise.
