Your New Year doesn't have to be the first of January. A New Year can start with a birthday, the beginning of a new job, an undertaking, even a decision.
A New Year is a New Beginning. Before we know it, though, it will be January and we'll be thinking about Spring, lengthening days, more daylight, and all the possibilities that attach themselves to that train of thought. Now is a good time to prepare for it, not necessarily in a tightly disciplined way, more in a frame of awareness. Given that Christmas is coming, there'll be a break from the routine, and we'll get some time to rest, reflect, and restart. That's the value of awareness, isn't it? (See the link below). For many, this can be a very useful time to put into practice a startup system of hitting the ground running in January. December, with it's seasonal bustle, urgent finishing of a year, and the advent of 2021, can be a time of quiet preparation, thoughtful planning and taking a decision on how the New Year is going to look for YOU. With that in mind, there's an exercise in personal achievement that might be of interest to you. Many have used it over the past year and found it revealing, mind-opening and liberating. (See link below). It's a exercise in using your food, your mind, and your own inspirational resources to take a decisive step in the way of self-development, mental alertness, and physical well-being. Because it can be done over three weeks, it's a real boost to morale; something we can all do with these days. It's a step into the practice of Self-Sufficiency. Self-Sufficiency is the way to make sure a task gets completed, isn't it? When we take the task to ourselves, charge ourselves with the starting, doing and completing, we minimise the influence of outside factors. That's when we DARE to do, when we take charge of ourselves, our lives, and how we want our lives to be. For more details on this project, see HERE.
